Skye has now been homed!

Have we got a treat for all you collie fans out there! Meet Skye who is beautiful inside and out and really does have the ability to charm everyone she meets.

We don't

know her age and guesstimate her being around 3 years old. She is a real love bug and her favourite thing is getting love and attention from her humans. She comes from an unknown background and we suspect she's lived outside from the staining on her coat and mats when she first arrived. She will need regular brushing and is completely fine with this - it's just another excuse for a fuss. Her new family will need to show her the ropes with toilet training, she's doing well so far with regular trips out and continued guidance she'll soon get the hang of this being the clever girl that she is.

Skye travels fine in the car and will need a family who will share walking adventures with her. She's curious seeing dogs out and about and has been friendly with a variety of dogs she's met in a kennel environment. She could live with another dog so long as they didn't mind her looking for affection from her family members. She could be an only dog, but would need to be with someone around for some of the day or where she could go to work with her person as shed get bored being left. Collies have busy brains and whilst Skye doesn't necessarily need a collie experienced home, her new family need to do their research to make sure they can meet her needs both mentally and physically.

Skye can be homed with children 8+. She has ignored cats that she has been close to at kennels, but sensible introductions would be needed in a new home.
